Tom has been a Camp Lewis staff member for the last seven years and attending Camp Lewis for the past ten years. Tom started as a father and Cub leader bringing his scouts to camp. In 2015, upon his retirement from the Bergen County Sheriff's Department, Tom joined the Camp Lewis staff as the chef. In 2016 Tom served as the Health and Safety officer. He took over as Camp Director and Ranger in 2017.
Bridget has been attending Camp Lewis for the past eight years as a parent. She joined our staff in 2021 as our Program Director and immediately made an incredible impact. Bridget has been a teacher for thirty years specializing in the fourth and fifth grade age group. She is the coach of the schools Robotics team teaching computer programming.
Assistant Program Director
Matt has been a staple at Camp Lewis for the past twelve years. First attending as a Cub Scout then joining the staff in 2015. Matt joins the administration team this year after his impressive years as the Field Sports Director, Cub Skills Director, and STEM Director. Matt is an Eagle Scout and incredible Musician. He is currently a student at Ramapo College where he is studying to be a music teacher.
Peter has been a part of the Camp Lewis team since 2016. Before finding his passion as part of the culinary team, Pete worked in the STEM program and Cub Skills program areas. A hobbyist cook at home Pete asked to join the kitchen crew where he immediately found the passion to take the reins. Peter is attending Millersville University where he is studying secondary education with the goal of teaching in High School.
Provisional Cub Masters
Mr. D. has been a staple of Camp Lewis for more than twenty years. Frank has served in many roles including Chief Camp Master and Head of the Friends of Camp Lewis 501c3 and a constant assistant to the ranger. Frank was a driving force to start the Camp Lewis Provisional program in 2019 and has been the lead Provisional Cub Master ever since.
When not at camp, Frank is the Charter Representative for Pack, Troop, and Crew 86. He has been servant leader for over 40 years, where he started giving back by serving in the United States Navy. After a long successful career as an Electrical Engineer with Motorola Frank can now be found spending time with his beautiful grandchildren.
Monica Couillard is the newest member to the Camp Lewis Staff becoming a Provisional Cub Master in 2021. She is the Cubmaster and Advancement Chair of Pack 168 in Rutherford, NJ. She enjoys working with scouts as a Supernova Mentor and Merit Badge Counselor. She also supports other adult leaders in NNJC as the Membership Chair for Three Rivers District and an instructor with the Training Committee.
Monica is also a member of the Women’s Club of Rutherford and a Distinguished Toastmaster. She has also dedicated 19 years as a volunteer with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, where she has served as a certified instructor by the State of NJ, a fingerprint technician and interpreter for Homeland Security, a chef for the Coast Guard, a vessel crew member, weather specialist and has earned other qualifications over the years.
In her professional career, Monica is the Head of Talent Acquisition in the US for a global professional services company with over 50,000 employees.
